Tashi Dhelek,

I wish that everything is fine with you. Here I am fine and back from my trip to Phaplu (Chewang). Anyway it was nice trip and we had spent almost 10 days at Phaplu and made some hiking to Ratnagye, Junbesi and to Tupten choling. But This time we didnot go for trekking to Numbur.

The weather was excellent it was fine trip we are blessed by his holiness Rempoche Tuchu Rempoche at the Chewang monastery. As you know that every year there held a big events at chewing Gompa called Mani Remdu. This is one of the biggest events in the year for the sherpas of Solu region. Sherpas
from Solu congregated at chewing Gomba. The monks did Ten days of non stop prayer session addressed to the patrons deities seeking blessing from the god of all mankind. The congregation is bless by his holiness Tuchu rempoche and given holy water and auspicious pellets for good luck and longevity.

An orchestra of symbols, horns, flutes, and conch shells announced. Monks in colorful robes and huge glowering masks performed dances symbolizing the destruction of the evil. On the last day, tormas ( figure made of Dough ) are consigned to the sacred fire. This implies the end of negative forces and the advent of a blessed new year. I have remembered all our team members spent for Numbur trip.

Here in Nepal the political settlement is going on and The good things is that there are some good changes in political situation and we are happy with this.
